My VCAP-DCA Exam experience and Study Checklist

Hi Guys,

I have Passed VCAP4-DCA and VCAP5-DCA Exams. For both the exams it took 1 month to get the result, actually it took less time for VCAP5-DCA result.

My study suggestion for all of you will be, perform each and every lab practice at your home lab. 60% exam blueprints are same for VCAP5 and VCAP4, they removed “Orchestrator, vCenter Heartbeat, vShield Zones, vCenter Server Linked Mode” from VCAP5-DCA.

Both the time the Labs were slow, thought my past VCAP4-DCA exam experience will be helpful for me but I was wrong, I faced same issues and at the end, not completed all the questions. Preparing checklist for your study always helped me. Please watch all Trainsignal videos and do all command prompt practice, as commands will definitely help you to perform labs bit faster.  Some of the questions were very easy. I mean, you spend days and nights to go deep into the vSphere technologies and then you are asked to configure something so simple that you think you misunderstood the question and there was some trick in it.

I have posted detailed feedback on my blog Onlyvmware.com also you can download the checklist from there, will be helpful for you.

Best of luck for your exam.
